On #MemorialMonday we want to honor the South Carolina dogs that have passed away.
Sadie’s Story ❤️
Sadie was originally supposed to be left behind because she couldn’t walk. John, one of our volunteers, absolutely refused to leave her and carried her to the van.
She was very arthritic but not much else. The rescue started her on an aggressive regimen of arthritis medications. She was able to walk again and at times she could even play. Her resident foster siblings cared for her and kept her company. Her biggest joys were sun bathing and keeping her foster mom on her toes for her wants and needs. She was spoiled and doted on until her arthritis made it impossible for her to get around any longer. Then she was allowed to leave this world with dignity and surrounded by love 🌈❤️
