When her owner passed away suddenly, Rainey found herself in a shelter with 4 of her offspring 😢 All 5 came to Doberman Underground for a new beginning. 10 Years young, this beautiful redhead needed a wonderful home where she could settle in to enjoy her golden years.
Rainey's new mom has owned Dobermans for 45 years and recently lost her beloved DU alumn, Max. The perfect match was made. Can you feel the love? Rainey now has a loving home where she has lots of toys and is totally spoiled. In return, she is doing a wonderful job of helping heal her new mom's heart.
Earlier this week we introduced you to Sienna, who is our most recent medical intake. We want to send a special thank you to everyone who donated. We are so appreciative of your continued support 🐾 . Sienna’s total medical cost is $6,225. We have raised $2,560 thus far, but still have a ways to go.
This Friday we are going to make our own National Holiday 😉. It will be “National Make Your Coffee At Home Day” ☕️. We are asking that everyone makes their coffee at home. Instead of going to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, save your $2-$10 and donate that money towards Sienna’s care.
Every little bit helps and it will get us closer to our goal! In case you missed the post, Sienna is a 6 month old female Doberman that ran into traffic and was run over by a car 😢. Sadly, no owner came forward, she was rushed to the emergency vet and we were contacted to step in.
Sienna has a bilateral mildly displaced hip fracture. The best option for her at this young age is to do surgery to repair it, which would be an acetabular curved plate and screws to hold everything together. Sienna had surgery last Thursday and was at the emergency vet for 5 days.
Everyone that donates on Friday will be entered into a drawing and we will randomly select 3 people and send them a Starbucks gift card! We are looking forward to starting our own National Holiday! Thank you for participating!
