You can make a HUGE difference in the life of a dog in need by fostering. Doberman Underground provides the dog, you provide the love.
Doberman Underground provides food, pay all vet bills, provide crates and toys. All that you have to do is take the animal into your home, provide loving care, transportation for vet care and attend events.
All of our dogs are are placed with foster homes until we are able to find them their forever home. Fostering allows us to learn about the dog and enables us to better match and place the dog in a loving forever home. During the time the dog is with you, together we help advertise them at events, on our website, and through social media in order to find a loving forever home.
Fostering a dog can be a very rewarding experience. Fostering a dog is the first and most important step in giving them chance for a better life. Most of these pets have been homeless and and may have suffered from abuse and neglect. And in most cases the fist time the dog has ever felt love and kindness.
Since we cannot anticipate when your foster dog will find it’s forever home we ask that the foster commits to caring for their foster dog until they find their forever home.
Fostering is not without challenges, but Doberman Underground will be there to help guide and support you through any issues you may encounter. We are available to our fosters 24 hours a day!
If you have been considering adopting a dog, but are not ready to make that commitment, then fostering is the perfect option for you. You will help save a dog, have a great time, meet the best group of Volunteers ever and get that warm fuzzy feeling knowing you made a difference in a dog’s life and the family that adopts them. If you have any questions please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
However if you are ready for your a rewarding adventure than you are just a click away. Just fill out our Foster Form and you will be contacted by one of our amazing Volunteers who will guide you thru the process of becoming a Foster.
We wanted to take a day to celebrate our #NoBermans and all the other NoBerman followers out there 🎉! Since beginning this rescue we have taken in NoBermans, because we leave no dog behind and today we celebrate this "unique" breed ❤️.
A NoBerman has the heart, loyalty and spirit of a Doberman! However, they have shorter legs, more hair, and funny looking colors 😉. Yet they are loyal to their owners and are as pure as they come 🥰.
Mera is an energetic 22 month old female Doberman who loves to be outside ☀️! Her favorite activity is playing fetch 🎾 and second favorite is cuddling on the couch 🛋. She knows sit, down, stay, shake and kennel! Mera is very smart and is even learning to put her toys away 🧸. She is eager to please and is patiently waiting for her forever family.
Lets fill you in on our sweet girl Jasmine, the Doberman, and the kids she adopted 🖤. It has been almost six months since Kennedy/Jasmine arrived at Doberman Underground. When she came to us she had Demodex Mange and look at her now! She has been in her forever home for the last three months and is doing wonderful 🤗.
Here is what Mom has to say:
Jasmine has become a welcomed part of our family. We have continued to keep her crated at night and when we are away, as she’s still nervous when we leave her. It took a week for her to go outside without us on the patio.
She has begun walking on a leash with a gentle leader and is doing well with beginning to learn basic commands (sit, stay, come, off).
She is eating well and as not had a mistake in the house since she arrived. The vet gave her a good review and suggested another 5 pounds which my husband has accepted as a treat challenge. She has met the neighbors and our babysitter and been good with everyone after she sizes them up of course. Next we are introducing her to the sprinkler so she can join the kids this summer.
You can tell Jasmine has settled in very nice and we couldn't be happier for the update 🐾.
