You can make a HUGE difference in the life of a dog in need by fostering. Doberman Underground provides the dog, you provide the love.
Doberman Underground provides food, pay all vet bills, provide crates and toys. All that you have to do is take the animal into your home, provide loving care, transportation for vet care and attend events.
All of our dogs are are placed with foster homes until we are able to find them their forever home. Fostering allows us to learn about the dog and enables us to better match and place the dog in a loving forever home. During the time the dog is with you, together we help advertise them at events, on our website, and through social media in order to find a loving forever home.
Fostering a dog can be a very rewarding experience. Fostering a dog is the first and most important step in giving them chance for a better life. Most of these pets have been homeless and and may have suffered from abuse and neglect. And in most cases the fist time the dog has ever felt love and kindness.
Since we cannot anticipate when your foster dog will find it’s forever home we ask that the foster commits to caring for their foster dog until they find their forever home.
Fostering is not without challenges, but Doberman Underground will be there to help guide and support you through any issues you may encounter. We are available to our fosters 24 hours a day!

What better way to end the long week of Stay-At-Home orders than to grab your favorite blankie and get ready for some snuggle time 🥰. Our foster boy Wilbur is ready to pack his blankie and cuddle with his forever family 💙.
There is something absolutely adorable about a full grown Doberman who loves their blankie, to the point he takes it everywhere he goes. Whoever adopts Wilbur should know he is a package deal, meaning his favorite blankie comes with him 😍.
It is #FosterFriday and we have some great news to share. Our foster girl Talia had the surgery needed to straighten her leg! We are hopeful this will give her a better quality of life.
Talia came to us in January with a contracted tendon in her front leg that she had been born with. Now at the age of 2 and having been surrendered to our rescue, we reached out to our vets to see what could be done. The wonderful staff at All Creatures Vet in Rittman, Ohio spent time researching, consulting and preparing to relax Talia's tendon so we could straighten her leg. While we are so grateful for all of their time and effort, it does come at a $1,300 cost.
This is where we need to reach out to all of you for your support in helping with Talia's medical bills. No amount is too small, even the $5 typically spent on Starbucks would help immensly. Please donate below or on our website at https://dudobes.org.
Talia is also ready for adoption and we know we will find the perfect home for her. If you think that is you, please visit our website and apply today!
